Alabama
Leg 32 and we’re back in ‘Bama taking care of business. This getting ready to shift to RV life is no joke, but we’re excited for new chapter! This leg has been a long 10 months of hustling - not a minute has been wasted.
We sorted through more storage, sold Hank, met our Momentum 395MS (woohoo!), worked on modifications, bounced around the southeast huddling with family and seeing old friends, and somehow managed to contract Covid for the first time.
Oh! And we had a wedding!
Inky & Stinky Mo!
Yes! We ordered a Ford 450 May 04 of 2023. This aint that truck. But after waiting 9 months with no notice of build start, we were anxious to get back on the road and finally found one with most of what we wanted.
Just a short jaunt to Texas and Inky’s now ours!
Meet Mo! Dubbed so not because he’s Momentum 395MS, that’s just an unnoticed and unintended fluke. He’s earned his name because he keeps taking mo’ money -- mo’ money -- mo’ money!
If we’re honest, prepping for RV life has been more stressful than we thought it would be. And we’re betting the house that it will pay off once we’ve officially hit the road. So fingers crossed!

Chopped Pork BBQ
Always on the hunt for new and good BBQ joints, we made our first visit to Byron’s Smokehouse on Opelika Rd in Auburn. No frills here. Classic southern BBQ. Classic sides. We’ll be back!
Bacon Flight
The menu at The Hound in the heart of Auburn is loaded with ridiculously tasty fare that requires a return trip. But this visit, the bacon flight is phenomenal and the cocktails are on point!
Our mission to discover new BBQ places is only rivaled by our need to hunt down great Mexican. This leg we tried Don Julio’s Mexican Restaurant on Moore’s Mill Rd Auburn. Delicious - need a take-two to be sure!
