Nice little nugget in Alabama.
It’s fun to see the differences and similarities in the features of cave systems we visit. Cathedral Caverns has some massive ones. Its Stalagmite Forest runs 3,500 feet and is one of the largest we’ve seen yet.
The old bridge constructed by the original developer to access deeper into the cavern still survives many feet below the touring path of today.
Great tour with well versed guides.
