U.S. Space and Rocket Center - Huntsville AL

Home to a National Historical Landmark, Space Camp, and the largest spaceflight museum in the world, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL helped put man on the moon.

Exhibits throughout the Space and Rocket Center are extensive and include the Apollo Saturn V Moon Rocket, the Apollo 16 Command Module, and the Apollo 12 Mobile Quarantine Facility.

This visitor map may be is misleading as they managed to get the entire complex on the same page. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is big and has plenty to do and see.

In addition to the hundreds of exhibits, Space & Rocket offers additional immersive and hands on experiences at extra cost. The Apollo 11 Virtual Reality experience is brief, but it’s a great presentation of the moon landing. The V.R. experience only second to the INTUITIVE® Planetarium and its presentation on the James Webb Telescope. A must see!
