Deception Pass
Deception Pass Bridge - Oak Harbor WA
At the center of one of the most visited parks in Washington state sits Deception Pass. With 77k ft of saltwater shoreline and more than 33k of fresh, activities in Deception Pass State Park are extensive. Camping, fishing, paddling and biking just scratch the surface. But the heart of the park, Deception Pass, brings visitors from across the globe witness its mysterious vibe first hand.
Together with with the Canoe Pass Bridge, the Deception Pass Bridge connects Whidbey Island - home of Deception Pass - to Fidalgo Island. To explore, we parked roadside on the south end of the bridge with countess other tourists.
We stopped long enough to walk the bridge and hike to the beach on the Deception Pass Bridge and Beach Trail.
