Lady Bird Lake Multiuse Trail - Austin TX
The lake-like reservoir of Lady Bird Lake is one of the most popular recreation areas in Austin, TX. Located on the Colorado River in the heart of the city, Lady Bird Lake offers water recreation that includes kayaking, paddleboarding, and Swan Pedal Boats, and is looped by the 10-mile multiuse Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail.
Even though we’ve lived in the Greater Austin Area, this was our first visit to Lady Bird Lake. Had we ever been before, we wouldn’t have chosen to bike here. Our ride was at 9:30 on a Sunday morning.
We did a lot of people dodging.
Very congested. Might do again but at dawn before the city wakes up.
Should’ve chosen to paddleboard instead!
