One of our favorite quick trails in the Austin Area. Have hiked it frequently.
Trail is a nice walk through the start of Hill Country terrain with a half-and-half ratio of shade to sun. It includes a creek crossing that would would serve as a wash in stormy weather, and a small brushy area that encroaches on the trail.
Improvements in signage has been made since our last visit. Interesting to see it grow!
Watch for snakes. We’ve seen some big ones here.
