Upper Big Creek Trail

Olympia National Forest

JUL 2021

5.24 mile loop - 1132 elev gain - moderate

Not your typical “destination” hike, but this trail is lush and green with magical vibes and perfect for exploring this area of Olympic National Forest. Exactly what you’d expect from a Pacific Northwest hike. The forest canopy is dense through and provides great shade.

The loop includes a number of benches, several bridges, and a couple opportunities to put your feet in the water to cool off.

Started at 8am.. Hiked clockwise. Moseyed and finished up around noon.

Passed only a handful of other hikers the entire way.

happy hikng!
