Statue of Liberty - New York NY
Lady Liberty is appropriately located on Liberty Island! Gifted to the United States from the people of France, the Statue of Liberty has stood in New York Harbor since 1886.
Visitors must pass through security screening to enter.
A visit to the Statue of Liberty is more than just looking at the 151-foot symbol of freedom on top of her 153-ish-foot pedestal. She has her very own Museum! The Statue of Liberty Museum contains exhibits and items covering the statues creation and history, from sculptor molds to her original torch.
You haven’t lived until you’ve gotten up close to her toes!
Grab the Audio Tour, it’s worth it!
And prepare to have your personal space invaded on the pedestal!
