Umpqua Valley Winery Hop
Bradley Vineyards -Elkton OR
Oregon is full of small wineries - more than 900 according to Google. We sampled a tiny fraction.
We spent an entire Saturday exploring most of what Elkton had to offer. With primarily Pinot Noir wines from vineyards throughout the Umpqua Valley, the River’s Edge Winery, Lexéme Winery (tasty dessert wine), Bradley Vineyards (amazing views), and Brandborg Vineyard and Winery (our Elkton favorite) kept us tasting all day.
To top the day off, we made a small detour to Meadows Estate Winery and Vineyard in Oakland where we had beautiful scenery and great conversation with our sommelier.
Other wineries we visited during our stay were Cooper Ridge Vineyard - where we had a quaint double date with our rental hosts; and Paul O’Brien Winery (Roseburg, OR) - where we had a terrific sommelier with an Irish brogue we could have listened to all day!
