Geneva
Geneva City Office - Geneva NY
A charming historical town on the north shore of Seneca Lake in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes region, Geneva is well known for its annual National Lake Trout Derby Day. A thriving artist community surrounded by craft breweries, wineries, farm-to-table restaurants, and a host of recreational activities, as well as home to landmarks like Belhurst Castle, Geneva has made a mark as a popular vacation destination.
After wrapping up a round of disc golf on the north shore of Seneca Lake, we took a stroll through downtown Geneva admiring murals the interesting architecture in the area.
We found a great spot for lunch at the Beef and Brew. They offer a variety of cuisine, but we’re suckers for Irish fare. We decided to split an order of Beer Cheese Soup, a Shepard’s Pie, a Tater Tot Platter and a dark craft flight. And, all our choices were phenomenal!
We wanted to explore more if the Finger Lakes region so we only stayed for the afternoon. But, we found Geneva quite friendly and adorable.
I could see us coming back to explore more in the future!
