Cute farm with a giant corn maze, Hathaway Farm in Rutland, VT ranks 2nd in the top 10 family friendly corn mazes in the country! Since 2002, the farm has created mazes that get bigger every year! In addition to its popular Corn Maze, Hathaway Farm has a pumpkin patch, livestock barn, farm store, concessions, and activities for the kids.
Another rest area flyer find, this was a fun day and a great way to spend a quintessential autumn day in the beautiful state of Vermont.
We arrived just at lunch on a Sunday in October. Parking was nuts.
Admission at the farm store gave us our wristbands, our maze checkpoint sheet, and a slip with what activities there are to do around Hathaway Farm. We were also encouraged to QR code the GPS maze in case we got lost.
The 2022 corn maze was “Bloomin’ & Buzzin.’” The 13-acre design included 3 bridges and multiple early exits. The maze is divided into 2 halves and signs stress there are no early exits in the 2nd half and recommend you carry water! We did both halves of the big maze.
We completed the Hathaway Corn Maze in 2 hrs!
That included time to backtrack for water and a snack.
Concessions at Hathaway Farm sells a variety of treats and we hear the donuts are all the rage. But since the weather looked ominous, we skipped the fun and games which were geared more focused for kids anyway.
Fun stop! Great for kids. Great for a casual date.
