Cross Sound Lighthouse Cruise

Cross Sound Cruises offers several package options making it a fantastic way to experience a whole lot of the New England vibe in a compressed amount of time: a beautiful day on the water, amazing lighthouses, and some great history. Narrated tours highlighting notable points of interest and featuring lighthouses run roughly two hours and can be experienced from both the air-conditioned cabin and the breeze filled decks.
Great lazy day! We chose the Classic Tour leaving from New London on the Cecelia Ann.
Boarding went seamlessly and deck seating was nicely spaced.
The cruise was great, and one key aspect we enjoyed was the captain making a point to turn the boat at every stop so that starboard and port each had plenty of time to enjoy the site and take photographs.

The narration was nice, but it’s hard to hear when you’re on deck. If you’re cruising specifically for the wild tales and historic tidbits, it’s better to find seating in the cabin.

Great cruise. Clean boat. Nice atmosphere. All points that would prompt us to book this cruise again just to enjoy time on the water.
