RV??

Tuner ME

It’s been 181 days since we’ve walked any RVs - Phileas Fog could’ve circumnavigated the globe twice. But we’ve been exploring the northeast; hitting the country’s greatest cities and rich historical locations while researching RV types, brands, and layouts in our spare time. Needing to physically sit in some of our choices to narrow down our choices, we took a day to visit a dealer just across the border in Maine.

The last time we walked RVs was hot and sticky day in rural NC and the rigs were closed up like little hot box saunas. Six months later in rural ME, the temps were in the teens with blustery 20mph winds and rigs were closed up creating little meat freezers. Oh _ the _ joy.

The rigs we were interested in were on the backside of the dealer wedged into narrow spots; and even though an employee carried a jumpbox to open ones we wanted to see, there wasn’t enough room to open all of the slides on some of our chosen rigs. We crammed into a few of them and peeked through cracks, and we managed to actually sit in one.

And in a fitting end to this frustrating day, a SIM card error destroyed GoPro footage of the day.

It has to be easier… right?!
