Independence Hall
Independence Hall - Philadelphia PA
Independence Hall, now part of Independence National Historical Park, is the sight of some of the most significant events that helped create and shape the United States of America. Access to Independence Hall is by tour only and includes exhibits of historical document drafts and a walk through Congress Hall.
Visitors must pass through security screening to enter.
Our timed entry tickets were for the first tour on a rainy day the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Zero crowds when we arrived and security was short.
Amazing history of the building and its history.
Standing in the Assembly Room, seeing the period furniture, hearing the process of the drafting of the Declaration of Independence all help to make a tangible connection with this moment in American History.
A must see in Philadelphia!
