Wall Street - Peekaboo - Queens Garden Loop
Bryce Canyon National Park
7.3 miles - 1500ft elev gain - moderate
MAY 2021
Fantastic! One of our favorites in all of the US. Started at dawn hiking counterclockwise. Would absolutely hike this one again.
Wall-Street begins with a series of descending switchbacks.
Peekaboo provides elevated climbs weaving through Bryce Canyon’s famous hoodoos, but also treats hikers to amazing vistas.
The lower elevation of Queens Garden isn’t as impressive, but the views improve the higher one climbs.
After 7+ miles, the hike up out of the canyon was tough (for us), and I was thankful we didn’t start clockwise.
Lee: “When you smell the sunscreen and see the smiling faces coming at you, you know it’s almost over.”
Tips:
The earlier you start, the better. We were on the trail by 5:30am and didn’t see another soul until the halfway point.
Either direction you choose to start - Wall Street or Queens Garden - has an intense climb out. It’s worth noting Wall Street is the steeper of the two.
happy hiking!
