Arches National Park
He’s Lee - I'm V. He's quiet, funny, and intelligent. I’m impatient, determined and super awkward. He’s the yang to my yin and my best friend in life. If I’m taking the leap, there’s no one else I’d rather have by my side.
Fin Formations - Arches National Park UT
Arches National Park is one of the most distinct national parks in America. Its iconic arches stand alongside incredible rock formations of towering sandstone fins, balanced rocks, hoodoos, ribs, and soaring pinnacles in a sea of millions of years of erosion. This high desert of Arches is magnificent, hot, dry - and ridiculously popular.
Beginning Apr 1, 2023, all daytime visitors are required to have a timed entry ticket to enter the park.

Hiking
Visitors have a variety of trails to chose from in Arches. Short walks, moderate trails, and longer backcountry hikes can all be found in one of the most unique national parks in the country. To help protect the geological features and ecosystems of Arches National Park , it’s requested that hikers stay on the trail, protect the Ephermal Pools (potholes that collect water), leave rocks as you see them, and keep off the arches.
Adventurers looking for a little more excitement have the option of canyoneering in certain areas of the park. Canyoners must obtain a permit for each route.
Camping
Arches National Park has a single developed campground - Devil’s Garden Campground - open year round with 51 total sites. Sites are first come, first served November - February and reservable March through October with sites typically being full every night during peak season.
Backcountry camping is available for backpackers and requires permit. Permits are acquired in person 9 miles south of the Arches entrance station at the Arches and Canyonlands National Park HQ in Moab.
